Matt heard that Saturday the Sportsmans Warehouse in Midvale would have 6 bear cubs to come and visit. After he got home from work, we headed to SLC to see the baby bears. We pulled into a packed parking lot and when we walked into the store we were immediately in line. The line to see the cubs went clear out into the space between the 2 double doors. Instead of standing in line, we decided to walk around and see if we could just go see the cubs. We saw the line wind around the cash registers, the shoes, back and forth through the apparel, down around the fishing goods, and then wrap around a few aisles to finally, the bear cubs. I bet that line was a good 2 to 3 hour line. People were standing in that line to hold the cub (there was only one there!) and get their picture taken for $15. Not us.
They had the area where the photos were being taken fenced off, so we just stood outside the fence and looked at the cute little thing. It was much smaller than I imagined. He was the size of a normal-sized cat. He was pretty cute.

Gary and I saw that on the news and we would have loved to take Abby. It's prpbably good we didn't, because she would have wanted us to stand in the long line and would not be content to watch from the side. So cute!
What I fun thing. Maybe next time for us, or maybe just a zoo trip.
I don't think I would have stood in that line either. They look pretty cute from afar.
SOOOO cute! I would have loved to hold them but not after waitng for three hours! You did good.
I hate lines! I am all about multitasking... A look from a far is great. I look at the blog is even better!!!!
