Civil War Reenacting

I have always loved history, but when my friend Amanda Jones came to me to help her fix a dress of hers for civil war reenacting, I never thought I would do what I have been doing!
My family, along with the Jones family, joined the Utah Civil War Association in November of 2009 and there has been no looking back!  We have a great group with the UTCWA and I have made some amazing new friends that enjoy history also.  Here is a photo album of some of the events we have been able to attend this last year.

Emmitt looks like he is leading the guys singing at Camp Floyd in 2010.

Hopefully, as this next year comes, there will be many more opportunities to teach the history of our great nation to others through our civil war reenacting hobby, I mean life consuming passion!
