The girls were outside also helping their grandpa work on the house (okay, not really - they were chasing the cat, having a saw dust picnic, climbing the hill, playing kick ball, etc) and Kelsey found a couple of nice pieces of wood that would make great stilts. Her grandpa of course obliged and the next thing you knew, Kelsey had some stilts to play on.
I was surprised at how quickly she learned to walk on them. She did a good job. It was fun to watch her. Now this summer she can have her grandpa make her some taller ones!

The timeshare is coming along nicely. Since the weather was good, they, Matt, my dad, and Rick, worked on the front porch.

How nice to not see snow!!! I really have had enough! Sounds like a fun time - Grandma's and Grandpa's are the best.
I love the stilts -- that brings back memories. I still haven't figured out where this time share is that your Dad is building???
I remember the stilts that dad built for us girls when we were growing up. Especially the pair he built that at the time looked to be 5 feet up in the air. But were probably only 2-3 feet.
Don't you just love going HOME!!! I love going down there it is just so pretty and relaxing! Good to see you when we stopped by:)
Looks like a lot of fun! How creative your little girl is to come up with stilts!
i altered my last post just for you... scroll to the very end to see it...
I need the time share done so I can go and spend time in Jacket weather without keeping your parents up all night with Jack Jack crying "It's STUCK!" Fun Fun, I don't think I have ever walked on stilts! I am a little jealous.
