My Kendal turned 5 years old a few weeks ago. She is definitely growing up and has her own mind. We had a battle of wills just this morning over the shoes she should wear to school - she won. She is a sweet girl and full of energy and sometimes mischief. She tests her big sister to the limits sometimes, and at other times they are best friends. She loves her little brother to pieces and is so sweet with him. They were wrestling last night and she knew to let him win and to be gentle. She has the prettiest blue eyes and the sweetest little smile. We love her so much and we are so grateful to have her in our family. Life would be so boring without Kendal . . . We had a birthday party for her and she wanted to invite "Crane cousins." They all live at least 2 hours away, but they all came up for the party. Thanks cousins, aunts, uncles, Grandma Ellen, and Grandpa Larry for spending the day with us! You made Kendal have a memorable 5th birthday.
