Quilt Guild tonight!
I love this night, truly love it.
I was gathering the items I needed to take tonight and realized with some disgust that I didn't have anything to take to 'Sew and Tell.' No items finished in the last month to show the ladies what I have been up to. So I decided to whip this little quilt together. I have been meaning to make it for a week or so and it went together pretty quickly during Emmitt's nap this afternoon.
I had a sweet little niece born in December and I meant to get this done in time, but it didn't happen. So here is the pieced quilt top. I will have to go find something delightfully fuzzy for the back and get this baby quilted and on its way to Baby Izzie!

I love your talent Rach--just whipping up a blanket at naptime. If I even tried that I would end up with a pile of half ripped/half cut material, bunched/sewn together material and fingers sewn together. I can't wait to learn! I'll have to keep you updated once Sister Johnson starts my lessons (sometime this month is our goal). You are so awesome you little sewer/homemaker!

Seriously!? And Emmitts naps aren't very long....Wow, you are amazing. My best nap-time whipping up is grape jelly--but thats easy peasy.

Holy hell.
I loved the apron you gave me for Christmas ( I wear around the house when I have company...even when I am done cooking!) now I am thinking I need to have another baby so that we can get a new quilt. Can I give the baby back after I get the quilt? So, so cute!
