Kendal was so excited to play soccer this spring.  She talked about it all winter and wore her soccer shirt around all the time.  Well, soccer just ended last weekend for her and she had a ball.  ha ha ha.  It isn't that she is super agressive or made a ton of great plays, because she didn't.  But she LOVED being part of a team.  That is what she loved about soccer.

She looked forward to every game, although I know her coach got a little impatient with her at times because she wasn't Miss Hustle, but she had a great time and we loved going to her games as well.

Here is a sneak peek of one project I have been working on - a civil war dress that fits my tum tum and chest.  We have a school day event this week, and I needed something to wear.  It is surely not my favorite, I have already nicknamed this dress "the brick house" because of the color and the size I feel when I wear it, but it will work and be great.  Hopefully our school day turns out wonderful.

And this is Kelsey.  She is such a fashionista and trendy girl.  I have no idea where that came from, seriously!  Ever since we attending a mother-daughter activity a few weeks ago where she gave me a pedicure, she has been wanted to do facial masks.  She cracks me up.  She has a list of about 10 different ones and we tried one out last night.  Oatmeal, olive oil, honey, and egg yolk.  It was so mealy that is wouldn't spread very well and stay put, plus she wouldn't stop giggling so that didn't help!  I think more was in her hair than on her face.  She also kept sticking out her tongue and eating little gobs of it.  She tells me it is my turn tomorrow night.  We will see!
