mannequins

Friday I met some of my Crane sister in laws in Provo and spent the afternoon. It was a good time. I was the only one with all my children and they were a little crazy! Kendal is still learning how to listen to mom and how to act in public. She said "hi" to just about everyone that walked past her, and considering where we went, it was about 1/3 of the Utah County population. It was kind of fun to see people smile at her or say "hello" back to her.

Here we are at University Mall. Sweet Kendal left a crayon in her carseat during one stop and it melted. I saw it just as I was sitting her in her seat and tried to stop the 33 pound momentum, but I couldn't. She got green crayon melted to her little hind end. I bought these capris for my girls in March and I wouldn't let Kendal wear them when she had her cast on or she would have worn a hole in them. Now she just has green wax on them. If anyone knows a trick to get it out let me know!

Lisa was trying on some fun clothes in a store and Kendal could not get over the mannequins. She was so interested in them. She would rub their feet and giggle, touch their hands and squeal, and just act so funny.

It was pretty cute until she tried to steal this one's purse. After I put the cabosh on that, she just went back to the feet and fingers.

Thanks Lisa, Amanda, and Mindy for a crazy interesting day shopping, but mostly thanks for the great company and great food at The Olive Garden. I love that place!

Iron the spot with a paper towel over the wax and change the paper towel regularly. The iron will melt the wax and the paper towel will soak it up. There may be a tiny green residue after this but I am pretty sure this will work to get the wax off. Cousin Jess :) Good Luck!

Hi. I know you're surprised I'm leaving a comment, but I am getting more into this blogging thing, slowly but surely. I love all the cute pics of your girls, they are both so cute. I have heard of the ironing thing and if it leaves green on the pants when you are done I have a great new stain remover - compliments of Brian Auto. You spray Brake Parts Cleaner on greasy stains and they come right out in the wash. Works like a charm!

That is hilarious-- both the crayon and the maniquins. I'd love to have seen her with those maniquins.
