My Kelsey turned 9 years old last week. WOW!! NINE YEARS! She is such a sweet girl and I love her so much. She wanted to get her ears pierced for her 8th birthday, but her dad talked her out of that one with a digital camera instead. This year she was not going to be bought out so easily!
I don't do friend birthday parties for my kids every year, and this year for Kelsey's birthday it was a family year, meaning just our little family. In the past we have gone miniature golfing, swimming, went to Build a Bear and things like that as a family. So when I asked Kelsey what she wanted to do for her family birthday party, she said "Just a stay at home party with a movie and popcorn." I was all for that! The Proctors came over for some cake and ice cream later that evening. It was a good good day.

Aww! This brings back great memories. I got my ears pierced for my 10th birthday and I have always been so glad I did. Happy Birthday Kelsey!
