I bought some wool batting from Deonn today, so now I plan on putting the quilt sandwich together tomorrow so I can take it with me to Arizona for the reenactment this weekend. I will be hand quilting it while I am down there enjoying the rumbling cannon, smoking muskets, ladies teas, and a fabulous step back in time.

not sure about perfect
Well, I finished the top of this civil war soldier cot quilt today. I had stated in an earlier post, that I was looking for the 'perfect sashing fabric' to sash the blocks I had made. Well, I am not sure if it is perfect, but it was on sale, it is an 1860 reproduction pattern, it helps draw the eye away from those darn black squares I put in, and it is finished!
