Back in April I posted about how excited I was for our Round Robin exchange to begin at quilt guild. I made my center medallion from an old pattern called Favorite Block. I then sent a bunch of mid-1800 reproduction fabric around to the ladies participating along with my center block. This is what was returned to me! (It has actually been returned for months, I just remembered to take a picture today.) Isn't it beautiful? The ladies in my guild are so great. Beth added the first border of red and set it on point with the light green. Kami made the 2nd border of dog's teeth and the solid black border. Heather did the third border of hourglass blocks, and Tricia did the last border of railroad strips. I love what they did to my center. I am going to add a few more borders and make it bigger so I can actually use it while playing civil war with my family and friends.

We did have our hands full, but I was humbled by the couple with the 11 month old triplets.
Its very beautiful.
I need a few lessons from you. The first one being how to pick out fabric! You do good things!
