What is for Dinner?

Last night we, meaning our little Freezer Meals Enrichment group, met and swapped the freezer meals we had made for eachother. My job this time around was Chicken Cordon Bleu Pockets. I made around 160 of those little hummers. The first time we did freezer meals together, there were 6 of us, the second time there were 8 of us, and this time there were 12 of us.
Look at my kitchen!! I had a nice little mess for a few days, but I did clean it up in between cooking sessions.

I, of course am a moderate procrastinator, so I waited until the last few days to get mine done. What a pain in the ars!! 1 recipe of the cresent roll dough did one ladies meals, so I was rolling dough and rolling dough. They are tasty little morsels though, I hope the ladies all like them.

After the swap I came home with 40 breakfast burritos, 2 big pans of chicken enchiladas, 2 big servings of Little League Beef Burgers, 2 dinners of Honey Glazed Chicken, 16 Teriyaki Pork Chops, and 24 of my own Cordon Bleu thingers. Not bad right? It is a good time and I love knowing there is something in my freezer for dinner when it has been one of those days.

If anyone living around here would like to do freezer meals with me, I am there.

Honey Glazed Chicken, Teriyaki Pork Chops, chicken enchiladas, and Chicken Cordon bleu. Or pick 4 of your favorites. My friend Amanda said she would do them with us.
I did notice that you can see your banana's refection on your counter top behind the mess, what did you do, throw extra flour around to make it look messy....

PS I want to kiss you all over... and OVER AGAIN

I have wondered if it is worth it to join one of these groups. Sounds like you guys have a great system set up!

The only reason you can see the bananas reflection is because the picture was taken of the last batch. That counter WAS full of chicken, ham, cheese and sour cream. It was recently cleaned off to show such a shimmer!
And, I washed all the bowls that were in the sink, so you get the clean sink version also.

Krista, it is fun and worth it. Any meal is worth it if you don't have to cook it yourself!

PS, that is a new song that I added to my playlist - kiss you all over, there is no funny stuff going on here, although I did tell Lindsay she sure was lookin' good!
