DEREK, our Wintertime Entertainment

Kendal has a keen ear and she lets us know when Derek is out and about, especially on the 4 wheeler or snowmobile. She will be playing, hear the noise of whatever machine Derek is playing on, leave her toys, and run to the front window to see him! Once in awhile she will say "Dedek" while she is running to the window.
Anyway, Derek has been such a good guy plowing our driveway with his 4 wheeler and he has also been making a nice little ramp of snow with the stuff he scrapes off. He has been jumping his snowmobile over that ramp and entertaining all of the Crane family.
Here he comes, across the driveway and up the snow jump!

There he goes! He has been catching some really good air since he reinforced the snow hill yesterday. We all love watching him and the girls giggle and squeal with anticipation when he lands, goes around the house, and comes back for another pass over the jump. Actually, I get pretty excited too.

I like this one I played with on Picasa. That is a great program if you don't already use it, you ought to try it. It is a Google program and a free download. Thanks for the fun Derek and hopefully some of you will see the crazy, amazing Derek in action when you drive down 500 North!

Lyn said "That's Sweet!" I think it sounds like something he would do! So awesome that Kendal's vocabulary keeps growing. It seems like she has a new word everyday!

Yeah, he told me this morning that he was going to jump it. You wouldn't think it was so neat if you were the mom. Thank heavens he isn't doing back flips....his dad says don't give him any ideas....

Holy cow! In your front yard! I guess I am new to all this snowmobile stuff. My husband, dad and brother went out with him once. They all said he is really good and they were glad he was on their trip. They probably would have just sunk into a big hole without him:).

That's incredible! Derek has no fear. When Mark sees these pictures, he is going to wish he had never sold his snowmobile to help purchase a family van. Call us next time he is out doing tricks. My boys (including Mark) would think it was awesome.

Look at the cars stopping. You should charge them to watch! Make a profit. I am glad that he is sooo brave. I would have died of a hearattack!
