Miniature Golfing

We let Kelsey decide what our family would do to celebrate her birthday. She had it narrowed down to going to Build a Bear Workshop or going miniature golfing. Golfing won so we went to Trafalga.

Last year we also did this for Kelsey's birthday. Kendal was in a stroller and we were all totally miserable with an onery 1 year old last year. This year we gave her a ball and her own club and she was happy as pie. Kelsey had a super time too, she loves golfing. Everytime we drive by Trafalga and can see it from the interstate she asks if we can go.

We had a super time, but I have to say the funniest part was the last hole. It is an outhouse and you hit your ball into the outhouse, trying for the toilet hole, and then it disappears. Kendal was NOT happy about all of our golf balls disappearing. Here she is saying "All gone?" and wondering where her ball went. She was sad and angry. She tried to climb into the outhouse to retrieve her lost ball and when that didn't work, she just started banging on the plexiglass. I wasn't too worried, I thought it was funny until I saw the 3 inch crack she would make between the plexiglass and the wood frame everytime she would bang into it saying "ball, ball." After that, I quickly grabbed her and swept her away to the arcade games so she would forget about her ball. That is all I needed, my 2 year old to break the outhouse! She isn't even potty trained!

Love Kelsey posing with the clubs. I think she could give Paris a run for her money. You're looking pretty cute in your picture too Rach.
Glad you guys had a fun time.
By the way, how's Kendal and the poop going? I keep my fingers crossed for you that she ends the phase soon.

Kelsey is going to grow up and look just like her mom. That is what she told me one day! She is already there.
I did like the extreme low cut red blouse you are wearing, it took me by surprise until I saw the under shirt. HEE HEE, I bet Matt was thankful for the golfing experience instead of Build a Bear.

We love the miniature golfing! We took Anna this summer and she had a blast hitting everything with her clubs...except the ball. Glad Kelsey was able to have a fun birthday.
BTW...Rachel you are looking so good and super skinny! How are you doing it?

Kendals face in that last pic makes me laugh! She is not happy with the golfball eating outhouse! Anyway, I was telling Jared about this post and he has never been min. golfing--NEVER! I was amazed! Even us small town chicks have done it and he grew up here! So one of these days we need to take Jared min. golfing--he doesn't think that it would be any fun cause you can't whack the ball really hard.

Kristy, I love you. It is all a mirage though, as usual.

Looks likes a good time. You crack me up on how you are so honest about your two year old Kendal. Hope Kelsey had a good b-day and her bear turned out adorable. I am impressed that Matt came...wait no I am not....you were alone in public as a family....not with friends.....HAHAHAHA:)
