My Princess, well, one of them

Yesterday I gave Kendal the princess jewelry that Amanda and Jen brought over for her. She loved it! It is so surprising to see her all girly lately, she has NEVER shown any interest at all in girly things until the last few weeks. I have to admit that it is so cute!!
Matt was pretty sure he had a hunting buddy, but I guess he will still have to deal with hunting in style with my two girly girls.

Aiden, Jacob, Jack, and Jen came by yesterday afternoon. The boys had all made Kendal books, cards, papers with drawings on them, whatever you want to call them. They were so cute and she was happy to see them.

Kendal and I had a rough night last night. I guess the pain meds don't agree with her stomach because I dosed her up right before bed and she threw up 7 times last night. Needless to say I have been doing some laundry on the Sabbath!!
Since she threw up and had a little in her hair, along with a few other places, and smelled quite nice, I had to do a full fledged bath instead of a washcloth bath like Dr Berg said. This is what I came up with. It worked out pretty well actually! Her foot is taped to the board with masking tape. I think I need to find some duct tape for next time! She was so happy to get in the warm water and get clean!

Very creative! You may have to market that one to all the other moms that run into this problem.

IIIIIII DON'TTTTTTTT THINKKKKKK SOOOOOOOOO RACHEL! That picture is just as bad if not worse! It's just mean! Pay back's a B***H:) I am searching for a lovely one I took while cutting you hair the first time, hehehehehehehehehe...wonder what I'll do with it. I think the church bulletin would love to see Rachel from the enrichment committee in fine form!!!!!!

Ok, Kendal is such a trooper. I love the princess stuff. I too thought Lydia would be more tom-boy like, but recently she has shown that she has a feminine side. You are so smart with the bath thing. You're going to need lots of girl nights out during the 7 weeks!

Rach, I just checked your blog for the first time since Thursday. I am so, so sorry! Poor little Kendal! She looks like such a trooper! Good luck to you! If you ever need a break, give me a call and I will drive up there and we can go to lunch. I think I might need a break soon as well (I will explain later). Oh, and BTW...If your friends need some "good" pictures of you tell them I have some doosies!
