Rachel gets put in her place!

I made a whole bunch of file folder games for Kelsey when she was tiny. This one here is the first one she did, it is Noah's Ark shapes. Kelsey had this one down pat at 19 months. I got a few of the folder games out the other day for Kendal. She loved hearing the sound of the velcro rip and was totally putting them in the wrong places. I figured, "Oh well, my sweet Kendal just doesn't get it, we will have to work on that." So I took a picture and went in the other room for a few minutes and came back.
All of the pieces were in the correct places when I came back!! I asked Kelsey if she did it and she said no. My Kendal actually did it! When she had listened to the ripping velcro sound enough and irritated me for not being as smart as Kelsey, she put them in the right spots! I watched her tear off the trees and put them back in the right places! Good for her, bad for me for being so harsh. Kendal is teaching her mother so much these days. God knew how much we needed her in our family.

She is quite the little cheeser whenever the camera comes out!

I would assume that Jacob could not do it, Heck I would assume that Aiden could not do it. I really need to finish mine, we will have to borrow some of yours. Way to go Kendal, you are growing up so fast.

Yea for Kendal! She is advancing so fast! I bet it made your heart go pitter patter when you saw them all in the correct places.

No two kids are the same. Kendal just does things at her own pace, and her own way, as we all do.
Way to go Kendal,,,,, Yipeeeeeee!

Wow. It feels like it has been a long time since I read your stuff. Your kids are soooo cute. It is not just Kendal. I think it is second child syndrome. Ashley makes me CrAZy! and she doesn't care. She is just happy to be...

That's great! I think she knows how to work you.
By the way, I was looking at your older posts. Had to totally laugh. You need to come and look at my scrapbooks sometime. Darryl gives me a hard time about keeping junk from things to put in my book. He teased me when I had my first positive pregnancy test that I would keep it and put it in the book. Then he said that's gross so you'll probably just put the box in your scrapbook instead. I'm not telling if I did or not.
