Fall in our beautiful valley

Matt got home from Colorado last night, or I should say this morning around 1:00. We were so happy! He was going to come home today, but since he drove home all night, we got to play with him all day long! We had a super family day. This morning we went over to Midway to the golf course, I think it is called Wasatch Mountain. Anyway, there is a duck pond and a little play/park area. The girls loved it. Kendal loved chasing the ducks and just squealed and squealed. She tried to climb into the pond with them after she scared them all in there. We took some cute pictures, and here you go!

The ducks and geese reminded me of our cats. They know where the safe zone is, the water. My cats know the safe zone from the girls at our house is under the deck! They got there pretty quick once they figured out she didn't have any food to offer them!

Kelsey loves the monkey bars and she does them well. I don't ever remember being tough enough to do them when I was a kid! Maybe once or twice, but then my hands hurt so I quit.

It was a super fun day with our little crew. We even went out to dinner to eat. That seriously has not occured in what, 9 months or so? That is just guessing but I know it is about right. That might even be a conservative guess, it really could be 9 years!! The weather was perfect today too. I should have mowed my lawn, but I really didn't want to break the 'good day spell.'

Rachel-nice job on the pics--you are are regular ol' photographer! Will you please print me off the one with the girls laying on the leaves and it is fuzzy on the outside? I would LOVE to have it! That would be great!
It always warms my heart to see Kendal being so active and alive! I am glad that the crappy summer is finally paying off! You are a great mother! I can only hope to be as good as you!

Isn't that park the best? It's hardly ever crowded! Those pictures of the girls are just beautiful! I love the colors of the trees.
