WATER

I have a very impressionable mind. I have learned in the past 10 years how impressionable it is, I have to be careful what I put into it because it stays there forever and keeps coming to the surface for me to think about. I have been pretty picky about what music, movies, and books I put in that little mind of mine because I know that I will recall it several THOUSAND times and mull the information over and over and over.
So, earlier this week I watched a movie called Water. Yes, don't ask me why I watched a movie during the week, I have so much quilt guild sewing to do, enrichment stuff to catch up on, a house to clean, 2 online classes with tons of homework, dinner to prepare, bla bla bla. But, I did, I was just too interested in this particular movie.
Well, after the movie was over and I had snot and tears smeared all over my face, my heart had been ripped in two, my disgust for human kind rekindled, and my appreciation for being born where I was increased once again, I realized that this was one of those movies that was going to stay put in that impressionable mind of mine. And it is true, I bet I have thought about it at least 50 times in the past 3 days. It is a good movie, but it is one of those horribly true stories that you wish you didn't know really was true.

I will go make my kids breakfast now, they just woke up, and think about Water and the social injustices the movie makes my mind mull over and over again.

Heather it is at the library. Just a word of warning though, you need to go buy some ice cream to go with it though because you will be so depressed you will want to eat the whole thing of ice cream all by yourself with a spoon. Another word of warning, it is PG-13, not too bad, but definatly a movie to watch after the kids are in bed.
